Finally seeing the fruits of my labour, in print form:

I wrote the Food & Drink chapter of Lonely Planet’s new Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos & the Greater Mekong guide,

guide_vietnam_9LG_v1_m56577569830493921.jpg
supplied the pics for the Food & Drink chapter of the most recent Vietnam guide,

and did the “Local Voice” portraits and interviews for the new Bangkok Encounter book.

I’m currently at work on the next Bangkok and Thailand’s Islands & Beaches guides.

Whew.

RealThai has been plugged at the National Geographic Traveler website.

Part two of my Swedish radio interview with Göran Lager can be listened to here (click the speaker symbol near the phrase “torsdag 8 mars 2007″).

And I should have a photo feature and a couple of blogs at the Lonely Planet website in the coming days.

(Update: “Food for Life”, my photo essay on the unique cuisine of the inhabitants of northern Pakistan’s Hunza Valley, can be seen here at the Lonely Planet website)

Way to go! :)

Congratulations…you are almost famous!! Yay! What are you eating today for celebration? ;)

Well-deserved. Rather than fame, I think you should aim for worldwide free-meals-for-life.

Indeed well deserved. Keep it up. There’ll be a living in this yet I’m sure :)

Congrats, Austin! You make the world hungry.
