In your last picture, that wasn't mahjong that the men were playing. Instead, they were playing a game of xiang qi, or Chinese chess. Mahjong is another game that usually requires four players, and with Chinese characters and other figures inscribed on the tiles. P.S. I love reading your blog and lusting over your amazing pictures!
