It takes me 15 minutes from my office to reach Lang Suan. Despite a rush hour at noon, I cannot stop my crave for Thai food after viewing those pictures of the yummy food in your blog.

Hi Austin,

Is this the Soi I mentioned to you that is behind the office buildings on Wireless? I was lucky enough to stumble upon it my first time in BKK. I wish you'd been there this time around because I would have given my right arm to find those mushrooms.
Your food cart photo is hard to see (my failing eyesight? i hope not!) but I do see some bird's eye chilis, thai eggplant, what looks like turmeric root or kha chai and yard-long beans (though they don't seem very slender), maybe bamboo shoots (tho I doubt it, but it's too hard to tell), and pak choi in the background. And maybe the stems of morning glory back there, too...
Phew! My eyes hurt.
Cheers,
Maia

Hi. I'm a friend of Newley's from Boston. I happend upon your blog via his, and have to tell you: this is no place to stop en route to one's lunch break. I suspect that having perused your recent posts and the fabulous photos therein, I'm bound to consume an additional 500-700 calories at my mid-day meal. Maybe in the future you can show similarly incentivized images of people excercizing more, practicing fiscal responsibility, or watching less tv. Any would be appreciated. Until then, keep the mouth-watering pics coming. Best, Michael
